Hi! I’m Rachel,
An Onalaska therapist dedicated to relationships
I am a relationship specialist and am interested in helping people create better relationships with themselves, their bodies, their partner(s), their workplaces, their worlds. I like coming alongside folks in tough stuff–the confusing, the “why me,” the uncomfortable. My role is to help you make your own decisions and to not be alone in working through hard stuff.
I use a mix of science and common sense in our treatment, and I acknowledge that there’s a lot that we won’t understand. There are no topics off limits or where you’ll get judgement from me: sex, gender,
religion, addiction, guilt and shame, trauma, family, and anything else that’s on your mind and part of your life. You and all of your “stuff” are welcome in our shared space.
Working with me
I have special interest and extensive training in working with individuals (ages 14+), couples, and families impacted by trauma and dissociation, folks experiencing distress around pelvic pain and sex, and with people in relationships with gender diversity.
Maybe you’re feeling stuck and not sure what’s keeping you there. I believe that you’re doing the best you can and your actions are understandable in light of your experiences. My approach is collaborative. Together, we’ll figure out what’s getting in the way from you living the way you want, and we’ll find the next right steps in helping you get where you want to be.
Maybe you already have a therapist, but want to do some extra work in being comfortable with your body. I’m happy to collaborate with other providers, using evidence-based yoga and sensorimotor psychotherapy approaches to help you reach your goals.
